The Empowerment of Thomas Rich as Vajra Regent Ösel Tendzin was conferred by Vidyadhara, the Venerable Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, at Karma Dzong in Boulder, Colorado. It was the first time a Western student was empowered as a lineage holder in the Karma Kagyü Lineage.
